About Me

My name is Seth Smith and I am a Graphic Design major with a deep passion for art and design in all its forms. I have experience with a variety of media, both digital and traditional, and enjoy imbuing my work with a distinctive blend of personality and whimsy. My desire is to share my passion with like-minded individuals.

Over the several years I have studied at UA Little Rock, I have heightened my perception and understanding of design. With this knowledge, and my skill in both traditional and digital media, I seek an opportunity to share my passion with like-minded individuals.

I am an artist. I am a designer. I am a dreamer. I am one who seeks to know and to understand; I seek to create and commune. My greatest sense of fulfillment is derived from the hearty smiles I receive from those that I treat with kindness and understanding. I believe no one deserves anything less. I intend to develop my art and design works with an equal level of care and attention to convey my feelings and personality within.

My area of emphasis is Graphic Design, though I also have experience with a variety of traditional media such as painting, drawing, sculpting, pottery, and sewing. My skill in digital media revolves around Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Utilizing these programs, I’ve developed logos, edited photos, designed magazine and booklet spreads, and developed package dielines. In a more practical sense, I have utilized both Photoshop and Illustrator to create digitally-rendered drawings and illustrations.

My soft skills have been fostered by my work experience at the Cinemark Tinseltown movie theater in Benton, AR from May 2013 to present. In such an environment, communication and speaking skills are a necessity. Cash handling, crowd coordination, team leadership, task delegation, and spontaneous decision-making are other crucial skills I honed in my time as well.
